Pickup in Toronto

Your Niagara Falls adventure begins with pickup around downtown Toronto in the early morning, as your coach heads south along the Queen Elizabeth Way toward one of the world's most famous natural wonders. Settle in for the scenic drive through the Golden Horseshoe region, passing vineyards, orchards, and glimpses of Lake Ontario along the way. Your guide will share stories about the falls' formation by glacial meltwater some 12,000 years ago and what to expect once you arrive, building anticipation for the thundering water and mist that awaits at Niagara.

Niagara Falls

Arriving at Niagara Falls, you'll have free time at Table Rock, the closest viewing point to the thundering brink of Horseshoe Falls, where mist rises and rainbows often arc across the gorge on sunny days. Feel the ground tremble as millions of litres of water plunge over the crest every minute, and capture photos of both the Canadian Horseshoe Falls and the American Falls across the Niagara River. Weather and season permitting, the Hornblower boat cruise is available as an optional add-on, taking you right into the base of the falls' spray for an unforgettable close-up perspective.

Niagara-on-the-Lake

From the falls, you'll travel to Niagara-on-the-Lake, a meticulously preserved 19th-century town often called one of the prettiest in Canada. Stroll past flower-lined Queen Street, its heritage storefronts, boutique shops, and the historic Prince of Wales Hotel, all set against the backdrop of Lake Ontario and the Niagara wine region. This stop includes free time with lunch on your own, so choose from charming cafes and bistros before wandering the town's colonial-era architecture, gardens, and the nearby Shaw Festival theatre grounds that give the town its distinct cultural character.

Return to Toronto

With the afternoon light beginning to soften, your coach departs Niagara Falls and heads north back toward Toronto. Take this time to relax after a day filled with roaring waterfalls, wine country charm, and small-town strolling, or scroll back through your photos of the Horseshoe Falls' churning waters and rainbow mist. The drive retraces much of the morning's scenic route along the Niagara Peninsula, giving you one more chance to glimpse the vineyards and orchards of this fertile region before the city skyline reappears on the horizon.
