East Coast Explorer
Toronto, Niagara Falls, Ottawa, and Quebec City along the St. Lawrence — Canada's historic east.
View itinerary →Your journey begins with a scenic drive east along the St. Lawrence River from Montreal to Quebec City, the only walled city north of Mexico and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Arriving in the afternoon, you'll have free time to explore Old Quebec's cobblestone streets, stately Chateau Frontenac, and the narrow, boutique-lined lanes of Petit-Champlain, one of the oldest commercial districts in North America. As evening falls, wander the ramparts and terraces overlooking the river, soaking in nearly four centuries of French-Canadian history preserved within the old city's stone walls.

Montmorency Falls, QCYour second morning takes you just outside the city to Montmorency Falls, a thundering cascade that plunges 83 metres, nearly one and a half times the height of Niagara Falls, into the St. Lawrence River. Cross the suspension bridge above the falls or admire the view from the panoramic staircase and cable car area as mist rises from the gorge below. After breakfast and this dramatic natural stop, your coach begins the return drive west to Montreal, closing out a trip that paired historic old-world charm with one of Quebec's most powerful waterfalls.
