Day 1

Arrive Toronto

Arrive in Toronto, Canada's largest city, and spend the evening at your own pace — a walk along the harbourfront for a view of the CN Tower lit up against the skyline is an easy way to settle in before the eight-day loop through Ontario and Quebec begins.

Day 2

Toronto → Niagara Falls

Head south to Niagara Falls, spending the day at one of the world's most famous natural wonders. Take in the thundering Horseshoe Falls, with the seasonal boat cruise available for those who want to feel the spray up close, and browse the shops and viewpoints along the Niagara Parkway.

Day 3

Niagara Falls → Niagara-on-the-Lake → Kingston

A short detour to Niagara-on-the-Lake, a 19th-century wine-country town of heritage storefronts and lakeside vineyards, before the drive east to Kingston, a former capital of the united Province of Canada set on Lake Ontario at the mouth of the St. Lawrence River.

Day 4

Kingston → Thousand Islands → Ottawa

Cruise through the Thousand Islands from Gananoque, weaving between hundreds of granite islands scattered across the St. Lawrence River, some holding no more than a single cottage. Continue to Ottawa, Canada's capital, arriving in time to see Parliament Hill's Peace Tower lit up in the evening.

Ottawa → Montreal

Spend the morning in the capital, walking the Rideau Canal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and browsing the vendors of the ByWard Market, one of Canada's oldest public markets, before continuing on to Montreal for the evening.

Day 6

Montreal → Quebec City

Spend the morning in Montreal, walking the cobblestone streets of Old Montreal down to the Old Port, stepping inside the Notre-Dame Basilica to admire its blue-and-gold vaulted ceiling, and taking in the skyline view from Mount Royal. Continue east to Quebec City for the night.

Day 7

Quebec City → Mont-Tremblant

Explore Old Quebec, the only fortified city north of Mexico and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, then stop at Montmorency Falls, a waterfall taller than Niagara, on the way out of town. Continue to Mont-Tremblant, the Laurentians' best-known resort village, for the night.

Mont-Tremblant → Toronto departure

Flying in to join us in Toronto? Please share your flight details at least 5 days before departure so we can confirm your pickup time. If you're arriving the same day the tour starts, let us know your arrival time as early as possible.
